This is a turbocharger on a Ford 6.0l Diesel engine. A turbocharger is a device that increases an engine's efficiency and power by forcing extra air into the combustion chamber.

How to teach the students organization?  the last time i looked i never seen anything in the curriculum. i have always advised the students to be organized, organization equals efficiency, efficiency is a major key to becoming a successful automotive technician. its not only nut and bolts.

BCIT Trades Discovery Project

BCIT trades discovery is a 4 month program that guides the students through various trades at BCIT. During the Automotive section, the class disassembles and reassembles a 1.8L Volkswagen engine. the students get a lot out of this activity, by the end of this activity they will have a general understanding of how an engine works.

i was very disappointed when i was reading news about this about a week ago, he has inspired young and old, he has connected with people of all ages something not too many people can say they have done these days, everybody likes the video and further more, thanks to him everybody likes and knows that David Bowie song, he connected generations with that video and song, when kids ask to hear that David Bowie song all generations will enjoy it together, his Ted Talk is  a must watch

Effects of Video games on the Brain

First off I don't play video games very often but having to actually look up and read about this topic because my kids are at the age they want to play video games. After researching this topic and the effects on the brain I let them play video games. I actually found more positive effects on the brain than negative effects on the brain.
